In 1992, Ogie Diaz starred in the former Phillipine television show “Palibhasa Lalake” and played the character of “Pekto,” a name he is still known by today.

Ogie Diaz started his career in 1987 as an assistant to Cristy Fermin who worked at Mariposa Publications at the time. He then became a writer in the early 90s and was able to make enough money to take care of himself and his family. 

Eventually, Ogie Diaz ventured into acting and managing. Some of the movies he has starred in include Palibhasa Lalake, Gagamboy, Recipe For Love, Big Night, A Journey, to mention a few. Some of the talents he has also managed are Vice Ganda (comedian) and Liza Soberano (actress). 

As an entertainment reporter, Ogie Diaz has worked for S2: Showbiz Sabado (2003), Showbiz No.1 (2004 - 2005), Entertainment Live (2010 - 2012), Showbiz Inside Report (2012 - 2013), etc.
